This is the portal of the Rising Phoenix: a project based on the ruins of the Red Dragon Inn, designed for the purpose of role-play at its finest and destined to supercede all that has gone before...
          Locals of Rhydin have long spoken of a realm shrouded in mist, and of the dark secrets it conceals. Legends describe it as an isle, so saturated in spells of lidum that even the light of the sun has never found it. Perhaps the sun never will...but you have. So join us and have a look around. Meet the inhabitants of the Rising Phoenix, and immerse yourself in the stories of the Council. But before you proceed, be forewarned: for the Chosen of the Rising Phoenix, there can be no turning back.

A commander, speechmaker, politician, and bartender, all rolled into one attractive bundle. Micah was a born leader, and is responsible for the formation of the Rising Phoenix. Disgusted by the disrepair the Red Dragon Inn had fallen into, Micah has regrouped with a band of elite warriors to challenge those who would usurp the art of fine drinking and socializing.

As Micah's XO, LCDR Rojo keeps the Commander informed and abreast of all concerns among the Chosen, advising him on command decisions and taking charge when the Commander is unavailable. Fun-loving and flippant when necessary, Sassi also knows when certain superiors need to be shown a good time.

Mort, also known as Whisper, uses his wide assortment of weapons to ensure that the mandates of the Council are carried out. Pray that Mort never equates your name with trouble, for he is quick to seek out injustice and even quicker to dispose of it.

Sadina, a mercenary with a taste for blood and battle skill to match, keeps records of all in the realm of the Rising Phoenix. Her abilities as a fighter are well known in Rhydin, and the allies she has made in battle are numerous and powerful. Sadina's strength as a vampiress makes her an inexpendable member of the Council.

Responsible for negotiations with rival guilds and recruitment, Amberyl's past is as clouded as her thoughts. She is a dark elf, cast from the light of elven society by conspirators. Amberyl does what needs to be done, for her heart is just and noble, although sometimes proud and guarded by a thick wall of ice.

Fondly referred to as Lar by her friends, this warrioress is content to observe in most situations. The youngest of the Council at fiteen years, Lareal possesses a surprising amount of knowledge and battle skill for her youth. Still, she enjoys drinking and a good game of Scrabble, as any other self-respecting officer does.
